8 is Great!

On Saturday, March 28th, Elise was baptized.  It was a really special day for all of our family. Elise is such a special little spirit and was really moved by everything (she even cried a little bit). We were so grateful that our family and friends could share this special event with us.

One funny thing:  Ian was very curious about the whole baptism and confirmation process so we had a brief lesson about it for family night the Monday before the baptism, and I thought we had explained everything pretty well.  Apparently, Ian was hung up on the Holy Ghost concept because all through the baptism he kept asking about it, and after Elise was confirmed, Ian blurted out, "So, when is the Holy Ghost coming to give Elise her gift?" Gotta love that Ian and his love of presents!!!
